DX windup windows to power windows
Hello Team. I have a 1999 DX patrol Cab chassis 4.2 turbo diesel with 300,000 on the clock. I truly love my truck but she is old now I was hoping to modernize her a little rather than sell. I have been tossing up ideas about upgrading at least I hope to upgrade a few things to make her such a better cr to drive. to start
windup windows to power windows and maybe central locking?
I was wondering if anyone has done this upgrade?
Power windows?
I have spoken to a few wreckers but getting someone on the phone that actually knows if this can be done is a different story. So in order to totally understand the task at hand, I thought I would start here.

The master farter
I believe, the loom might already be in the door. You'd need to check. From my understanding the loom is the same for all variants, its just the end points where it differs. I could be wrong but I know my ST has the same loom as the Ti, on the sections on my Patrol I have seen anyway.
If so, you would just need the switches and regulators I imagine.

Patrol Freak
See if you can find an autoelec that knows Patrols. There may be relays and such as well. Also door cards and door handles etc. The central locking module sits above the glove box. The fobs are expensive and are sometimes a pain to pair. Plus you would need the solenoids in the doors. Lot of effort and expense for not much gain.
