When did the LED headlights become ADR compliant ??
I had HIDs that were awesome too good I think so went
back to 90/110 globes very yellow IMO, Ill have to look
into these LED headlights as every other glone besides
are LEDsides front indicactor.
will watch and learn
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
99 percent sure any led bulb fitted into a housing originally designed for a halogen is not ADR approved, but the Speakers led chips are in the same spot as the filaments in a H4 bulb so they throw the same beam pattern as the halogen at a higher color temp and more lumens, and do not blind oncoming drivers, unlike HIDs. So it is unlikely you will be attracting any unwanted attention if you run with these, or any other led with the same chip placement, just avoid too high 6500k + color temps...75235EDC-9BB0-4A80-A255-790C0EDBD9FA.jpeg

I run these LED inserts and they are ADR approved in all states. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/112609102546
They are good lights, but nothing spectacular - more an improvement on what i have used in the past.
The speaker lights should be ADR approved as a lot of truckers use them and they are offered as upgrades. Just need to ensure they are configured for our side of the road.
Might need a 7 inch hole saw to fit these in a GU 😂😂😂

Hey Mick, how do you find them compared to halogens? Also, those you linked to have heat sinks sticking out the back. Did you leave the weatherproof cap off the back of the headlights, or what did you do there?

Way better than the dim H4 halogens, and from memory they were a 2 piece design where you put in the base and fit the cap and then fit the rest in after, here is a pic 84DE39BC-4F49-4DD3-B89F-BBFB6FD8CA25.jpeg
