Going out this morning to pick them up, tyres are rooted but don't want them anyway. Photos look good on the reference vehicle. As long as they are not cracked or bent I am happy. Not buying them for the look as such, more the clearance on the new brake assy. Have to get the alloy rim nuts next.

They do look good though. I think I have a full set of nuts to suit the gq alloys which may work for you? They are not doing me any good as I don't have the wheels now.

I think, the GQ Nuts for the alloys are different to the GU nuts. The GQ have a shank on them from memory which go into the bolt eye of the rim. The GU's still use the conventional tapered nut. I'd have to look at the parts program to be sure though...

That is definitely how the GQ ones work.

    PeeBee,

The later model 17" GU Alloys look great, but scratch up pretty quickly in the bush due to the flat face .... mine look a little ordinary now.
Just something to keep in mind if you are going to buy them....
GU PATROL 2011 Ti, with goodies...

17" GU Alloys definitely have a tapered nut with no shank.

I bought a pack of spare nuts from Patrolapart for my spares kit, so they should be easy enough to get. I don't remember them being too costly.

Thanks, these ones are barked up already and I am not looking at a pretty truck presentation, it gets scratched and pounded, and washed every 5 yrs if its lucky. Thanks for the heads up though.
