G'day from new member
G'day and thanks for having me!
I am a long time patrol owner. My first patrol was a 1983 MQ 3 litre diesel, then a 1985 253 v8 MQ, 1989 GQ and I currently own a 1998 GU 4.5 auto.
I have owned the big GU since 2014 and have spent a lot of time setting it up as the perfect tourer for my use.
I have done all the usual, extractors, exhaust, top end rebuild, rebuilt the trans, transgo kit, fuel pump and adjustable regulator but it still guzzles fuel and lacks power.
I am currently part way through a turbo install, and hope to complete it this week - even if economy is no better at least hopefully it has more go!
Happy Trails!

Patrol Freak
Hello and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
