Was thinking that. Maybe a dodgy starter motor/solenoid. If it happens again get someone to tap the starter with a malllet, not hard. If it sporadically reacts/cranks then it's dodgy and get a newby.
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

Replaced the head gasket and the welsh plugs in the head. reset the tappets but now its warm I need to redo it as it have a bit of a rattle on a couple of them.

Contemplating doing this while the shitter is in the garage. Since they didn’t sell I might as well use them.

I need to go investigate now. Someone had sets custom made. They were not the usual ratio as some are too tall and some were too low.
