Yeh I've been following whats going on also, not looking good at the moment. I know with the majority of our fires in the Blue Mountains most emergency warning tend 2 go back 2 a watch and act overnight and then change back later in the day. Looked at Vics emergancy map at yesterday morning and this morning and its like they don't change from emergency overnight.
Time is never wasted when your wasted all the time
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Nah it's pretty full on. Half of the yinnar/Boolarra area has been evacuated and people on the outskirts of Pakenham have been as well which is crazy.

No, when we moved a couple of years ago I transferred brigades but the blokes here were absolute knobs. Decided I would rather not be involved.

Brother just popped out of the bush after 4 days in Butcher Country, clear blue skies, no smoke, came over the hill heading towards Licola and the entire hill was alight in front of them. Rolled around it into Licola, 10 fire trucks there, and Tamboritha road closed as fires as close as 4klm from Licola. I think the fire fighters are at Licola to protect the town - no chance stopping this one, so I guess its going to be burning for a long while.

Absolutely fantastic in my Nissan Maxima. Dont know whether it is because of the 3.5 Litre Motor but it rocks in my opinion.
I wiil give you a Drive when we meet up Mate

I hear lots of people saying how much they love their CVT but in my experiences I just can't stand it. OK so it's keeping the motor at lowest possible revs for whatever speed you're doing for fuel economy reasons, but when accelerating (and I drive conservatively so light pressure on the accelerator) it keeps the engine totally out of the torque band and they drive like a wind up toy. There's no feel to them IMO. If I need a little oomph I press the accelerator a little bit more. Nothing happens. A little bit more, nothing happens. A little bit more then she slides the ratios right back and revs up like a banshee. Autos just smoothly work up through the gears at the right revs and the right torque and up you get to speed nice and comfy. CVT...blah...
I'd be happy to see how yours goes though mate.
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??
