Headlight and ignition alarms/buzzer
I see a number of members have wanted this buzzer turned off
I’m different I want it on and it has recently stopped working.
My questions are;
1. How can I determine why it has stopped working, and
2. How do I get it working again
Thanks

Faulty door switch did this to a previous Magna sedan I had. I can’t remember exactly but I think the door thought is was closed even though it was open.
Easy test turn your roof lights onto door setting and open and close each doo and if the light works correctly then it’s not a fault switch if the light doesn’t come on then the door is opened then the switch isn’t good.
Worth a shot and that’s all I can think of.

Curious did it end up being the door switch?

Sorry for late reply.
No not the switch. Still haven’t been able rectify the problem.

it might not be that great but jaycar were selling kits to add one to older cars without it, I know not as good as the factory one but.
i'm not sure how its wired but it could be a number of things including the buzzer itself, broken wire, where is it fused ?
if its worth doin its worth over doin

Made one for the GQ (they don't come standard)
Easy peasy = light circuit (headlight) power through ordinary relay T30 with piezo buzzer connected T87a and earth, ignition accessory power T86 , earth T85.
When ign or acc is on, relay activates and diverts light circuit power to T87 (empty). When ign/acc is off, T30 light power goes to T87a (buzzer)
"Can't" is a dirty 4 letter word.
Best way to deal with a "Can't" is to chop off the "t" and brew it in boiled water for a few minutes.
Sip on the "t", and consider what you've got left to work with
