Clunky you AR$EHOLE, you know that I HATE clowns..............as for hugs, well since I met Possum I am getting used to them. Nothing like a good old fashion Southern Hugfest when you, me, Stroppy and Possum go camping together 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤗🤗🤗🤗

Family towing a camper on their way to QLD, just left home hours prior. Turns out their Patrol was running like shit on and off whole morning and they were borderline panicking. His poor wife had a gutful and was in tears. 2 kids on board.
ANyways they had their pre trip service and a few things replaced 3 days ago! He had the receipts in the books with them and I noticed one of the items replaced was the MAF sensor... Aha!!!
Walk over to the intake and lo' and behold the whole sensor assembly is hanging out by the wiring completely !!! Screws were not done up one may assume and eventually dropped out.
So sensor back in, we somehow done it up with a small screw driver as I didnt have any torx thingamajigs on me.
THey drove in front of me till Cragieburn pushing it hard and it drove like it should!! I just hope the sensor wasnt damaged while it was swinging around the engine bay and more so how much crap went into the intake and bypassed the air filter.
The bloke was just about crying in relief and thankfulness!
One famils holiday disaster averted... and off they go to Palms Cove. Half their luck!
ONe interesting thing though is the motor still ran and idled fine with sensor all the way out. Just no power and would not rev past 2000.
I thought that without the sensor the motor would not run at ALL. Hmmm .
Got home today to find an thank you present from above family... Cannot believe it.
They returned from their holiday and decided to say thanks in the form of a very nice Wild Turkey American honey gift pack and a ARB recovery kit and a very very nice thank you card. What an absolute kind gesture. Overwhelming folks...
Pay it forward people. It can return in heaps and bounds.

Smart like tractor
I now have a new work ute. Its an ex Energex GU 3.0 common fail. I hate the engine, but its twin locked and got to use them in anger today trying to get out of a wet black soil paddock after a job on a bore pump. I felt like a Victorian....... Heaps of mud and holding it flat!

Finally, 7 weeks after after I ordered and paid for it my superflex front sway bar arrived from superior engineering. Going to fit it over the next few days. Took bloody long enough though!

went to fit it and the kicker is they havent included saddles for the bushes. bit frustrating, it says no where on the website that they werent included, when i spoke to the guy when i made the phone order i said i had no sway bar currently and needed to get everything i needed to fit one, and it mentions it in the manual. now gotta cough up for additional postage and cant get it all fitted till they arrive =(

I insist on an email saying all parts included before I order after being stuffed around many times before , and yes it pisses you off .
