What should I sell these parts for?
Hey fellas,
Did a shed cleanout this arvo and needing to move these parts on to help fund the new engine. Just wondering what prices I should put on them? Prices below are just what I have guessed basically? Tell me if I'm dreaming or if I should ask for more?
Complete front GQ diff housing, no centre or free wheeling hubs $50
Rear GQ diff housing no centre $50
GQ EFI twin piston calipers with rotors, have pads but will need replacing. $250
Rear GQ calipers with good rotors and pads $100
Rear GQ axles left and right $100 for the pair
GQ CVs long and short $100 for the pair
Standard GQ tie rod $30
Standard lower control arms x5 (wrecked bushes) $25 each
Standard GQ upper control arms with wrecked bushes x3 $20 each
Standard GU series IV front and rear panhards with the large rose bush $30 each
GU rear diff solid brake lines $20
Harris hard case diff protector $100

Winnie, no idea on the prices but will take the front CV's long and short. Is the Harris hard case for the front or rear? If front I will take that as well

Good enough from you, pics will help me to ensure i dont do another sump piercing activity on the chev. I will see if I can find a photo on the net. I already have a protector but had to modify it and not all that happy with it.
OK, found a photo, looks fine. Let me know.

Smart like tractor
All the stock control arms zre throw away. I could barely give that stuff away.
I would have gone 100 each on cv's
I'd cut all the mounts off and clean up the diffs and try and sell the to hilux or Jeep Cherokee owners for a conversion.

Thanks Benny. Good idea about marketing to the conversion chaps.

If you do this, you immediately cut your market opportunity - think about this. If someone is doing a conversion they are aware and no doubt primed to do the removal of brackets, which would be a simple job. Priced to sell anyone in the market whether its for direct swap or conversion would be prepared to take the housings as they are I believe.

What, cut it further than selling a GQ diff without centres, CV's or Hubs? In this day and age most people aren't going to know they need untill they're told.
