GU Patrol 1997 Radio facia and ISO plug issues
Morning All
I have started what I thought would be a simple job of replacing the stock Patrol radio with a new Kenwood head unit, I U tubed how to remove the radio facia all good, went to local super cheap got my wiring harness ISO and that is where it started to go wrong.
Firstly as i started to take the facia off I noticed that previous owner or owners had taken off before and there were cracks all the way through, consequently the wood grain fascia for my 1997 GU TI is in many pieces also the Nissan ISO wiring harness supplied is the incorrect type although that is what Aerpro keep telling me is the one I need.
In the pic car wiring harness is on the bottom and the ISO on top as you can see they are not compatible.
Can anyone assist me in finding the radio fascia as all my searches have come up blanc even a part number would be good and secondly anyone advise the type of ISO harness I require as its not the Aerpro 120

Patrol Guru
I've just been going through the same issues with my 2004 GU III. The Aerpro connector you need is the APP0121.
I bought the APP0120 first, found it didn't fit and had to take it back to swap over.
Don't buy it from Autobarn (like I did) they are $14.95 from JB HiFi, Repco, Supercheap and $21.95 at Autobarn >

If this is the one you need, I have one I don't need. It is supposed to suit various Nissans before 2000adaptor.jpg

All this should be helful to others as everyone I spoke to all said APP120 was the part but its not there are always surprises once the radio comes out.

Thats because 'everyone' doesn't know Patrols like 'we' know Patrols :-)
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
