Isn’t there differences from certain models pistons gudgeon sizing etc?

Absolutely there's difference with larger cranks, stronger conrods and gudgeon sizes, etc etc.

Hopefully someone else can shimmy in here as I can't remember when and what.

Haha. Mine gets about 30ks a week on it. So to find the outcome it may take a while.
