Good bit of kit, Bought one eight yrs back from Mill. Went down to Mansfield for install, took a while to fit as it was one of his first on new body shape GUs. They have improved over the yrs, but mine has put up to quite a bit and does a good job. Is made out of 6mm MS plate has hitch point which I use for a recovery bow shackle(permanent) and left the rated tow bar on. Bought a Kaymar H/lift holder brkt and welded it up in behind spare whl. One thing I would liked to do is put a couple of H/Lift jack point in. We ran out of time on the day. May get around to it some time but in a time of need, drag out the chain and shackle to jack and your in business. Recovery points either side underneath, where I also hook the dogs up..

Reason: included "new body shape GUs"
I will have to wait for someone to run up the back of mine so I can get insurance to help pay for a decent bar.
Had considered the Powerful 4x4 but changed my mind after reading this thread.
Yeh, that is how I afforded mine sorta. Forgot I had the trailer on and in a hurry, jump in fire her up, back we go, jack knifed. Sorted the bumper out big time, got the insurance money, took out a small dent, installed rear bar and happy there after...
It doesn't line up properly, when I rang them about it they said 'just force it over'. Bit hard when the braces are hard against the chassis. The Jerry can holder welds have broken several times, hubby's reinforced it, which has added extra weight. It also vibrates loose constantly, so I leave it off. The whole Bar vibrates like a bastard and I had to make my own nut to hold on spare wheel. Close the spare wheel and it moves the whole Bar. Id save longer and get better quality.

Hey thanks for getting back to me katwoman. That's very useful feedback on your bar.
I've been looking at the Millweld bars and I reckon if I can do it I'll be getting one of them. I looked at Raslarr as well but I think I prefer the Millweld bars. Might take a trip up to Mansfield and get them to put it on when the time comes.

We can save $$ and cut corners on certain things but IMO not the bars
More hassle than what it’s worth in the end
