Did I ever tell you about my trip to Zimbabwe?
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

Sure.
He's not going to hurt anyone else though.
I'm more concerned about people who use mobile phones whilst driving.
Seems to be a growing problem.

He had me convinced and it really pissed me off when I found out the truth.
I feel sorry for his family, especially the kids.

SUCH IS LIFE
Buy a bag or 20 of these little legends. Every morning on the way to work just sprinkle a few hundred on the edge of the road.
Harmless to car/motorbike tyres and wonderful for bicycle tyres

I do like that Krisso mate :-)
But....surely their registration fees collected will be able to employ city street sweeping machinery to ready all Australian roads for them each and every morning :-(

Legendary
Not sure if this should be here or in the depression thread by here goes.
Let’s imagine that you take your car to a mechanic because there is a strange noise coming from the engine. After charging you a nominal amount for discussing it with you for 10 mins, he advises that he thinks it’s the injectors and gives you the name of an injector specialist. You call the injector man and he says you can bring it in next month. You will have to pay in advance and you may have to get a few other tests done first. He gives you a list of tests he wants done and where to get them done. You get the testing completed and the test centre forwards the results to your original mechanic and the injector specialist and an appointment is made to get the injectors fixed. To repair the injectors, the specialist mechanic needs you to book into a workshop of his choice, which will be separately billed and also needs the assistance of a fuel line connection specialist who will also bill separately. Before the work can commence, both the injector specialist and the fuel line specialist must meet with you and advise the risks involved with this repair. Finally, there is no guarantee that the problem will be fixed or in fact not made worse. If either of these things happen it is just bad luck and not recoverable from the specialist mechanic. More paperwork is involved if the damage was wholly or partly done at work or if another party is paying for all or part of the work. This is not acceptable for a car repair, so why do we put up with it from a health system?
End of rant. Health issue has been solved but I may not recover from the stress of the paperwork.
OK I feel better now.
