Well we all are very impressed with Tasmania and will be back to finish off what we started.
Approx 1600km in 8 days.
Thanks to all for your input on things to do and where to go.

So glad you are enjoying Tassie, there is a lot to see and you dont have to drive thousands of kays to get there. Love the pics. Thanks for sharing.

No problem.
I hope I have given someone an idea of traveling to Tassie. It's one of those places that you have to do.

Well we're here again.
Going to ST Helens tomorrow for 2 night, with some stops along the way.
Wanting to do a distillery tour, any recommendations on which one.

I think I recall you wanted to spend more time around Port Arthur.
If so then consider spending a few nights here with Jonathan and Jill http://www.harpersonthebeach.com/ Tell them who suggested you check them out and enjoy the food too
If you get a chance check out the Seafarer too.
Enjoy the East coast and if you get a chance slip up to Campbell town via St Marys from the coast.
Cheers

Dont bother with the cascade brewery. Tours were expensive and not many of them. Didn't spend a lot of time in East coast but bay of fires was nice.

Port Arthur is only going to be a one night to visit the two islands within the historic site and to do the night tour.

Thanks Kat.
Good I don't like cascade. Thinking James boag or a smaller less known one and a whiskey tour. Any locals can recommend one.
We're going to bay of fires today and went to George Town and the beaconfild site yesterday. Got a short video of a working stamping machine, will have to work out how to get it on here.
Not many pics but here is some.

I went there a few months ago and they were pouring in gravel to fill it. I really enjoyed the museum there and cpuld have spent longer. I loved the interactive displays, i was such a big kid.
