Feel your pain there Nessie. Mine's lucky to get 400km total (and even that requires feathering throttle n a tailwind). LPG $1.15 here too, so I mostly run on the petrol ($1.25) sub tank... oh, well...

that sucks! my sub tank only holds about 30l so i wouldnt be able to do that, but gas is only 54c here. but its a pain in the but, i use the patrol as my main car and travel 80 odd kms each way to work, so i am going through a tank every 2 days.
ill keep her for a while and then try get something in Diesel, but ive been warned away from the 3l deisels pre 2005.

Yep - mine too. 30 litre sub. 120-odd km range on petrol.
Hard to find jerry cans for LPG isn't it...

I'm getting at least 400 km out my gas system week in week out, but once I add a long range sub tank I should be good for around 800 km all up.
12/97 GEE YOU
4.5lt Gas blower. Lots of mods to come.....all in good time.

$1.15 and 54c that's a huge difference! Where are you guys located? (roughly if you don'e want to be specific)
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

Goldfields WA for $1.15 (actually $1.09 or $1.16 according to Fuelwatch today - only two outlets carry LPG) Tourists must hate it. Don't see many of the little-red-diamonds around town for good reason.

I'd probably get better if completely LPG rather than dual fuel I gather... recall it having something to do with tuning being a compromise between the two fuels, but not being ideal for either? Anyone confirm this?
