    Drivers door wont lock

I have got new latch and electronic motor. I have installed the same way as the old one but the inside door lock button won't sit flush and unlocks by itself.
Have I missed something: Sorry it's a GU 2001 model

Not too many combinations to try. The locking button on the inside dose not sit flush when locked and can be bumped to unlock. Also when supposedly locked the lever that stops the latch from opening moves when outside door handle lifted and if you pull on door it opens

Has to be either something not lined up correctly or linkages mixed up I'd say. I replaced my one recently, but no electric motor, just manual. I marked each linkage as I took it off, 'cos I was paranoid about mixing them up & all went back on without issue. Just a thought - are you 100% certain that the whatever connection there is between the motor & the the internal locking button is on correctly & the motor is positioned as it should be?

I'm sure you'll suss it, & when you do please report back as to what the problem was, it may help someone else in the future (besides, I'm curious). Good Luck.

I think the part number was the same for all GU driver doors - 80502-VB100.
