I hate Auctions, if you win an Auction you have just shelled out more than any other buyer in the market is willing to pay to live there
Five people are drowning, a Real Estate Agent, a Politician, a Financial Advisor, a Car Salesman and a Journalist.
You can only save four.
Who do you choose and why?
Ans;
None, why would you even bother.
Just walk away and the world will be a better place

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

A few years ago my boss wanted to expand our work and a house next door to work went up for sale. My boss offered the asking price but the owner said because there had been a lot of interest she had decided to auction it instead. On auction day there was less interest and he ended up buying it for 50k less than he offered previous. What she deserved for being greedy.

They were saying the housing market is ready to burst, but who knows? We bought high and had to sell low, unfortunately. Good luck with your move, BA.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Worst part about this is you'll go through several pairs in quick succession before finding a decent pair that'll last years.
