gq issues
hi my neighbour has a gq 2.8 he bought in 2002 went up to mt isa where it went bang not repairing it he bought
a gq 4.2 continued on his way back down to melb then had his gq with blown motor shipped back on a flattop
getting it home it sat for a further 12 years .its then we move and became neighbours which then I said lets get
this back on the road .being a 2.8 we had it rebuilt low and behold when they shaved the block engine number vanished
so to vic roads explained the situation they gave us a vp number all good so far but wait theres more yesterday we decided
to get some details well we found the compliance plate numbers .all good then the chassis number was different got the numbers
did some research low and behold the chassis is out of a gq 1988 with a 4.2 noticing the left eng mount had been moved.
so off to vic roads we go today the compliance plate was good but the chassis was a statuory write never to be regoed.
how he could buy a vehicle with rego and rwc and still drive around with it .now he's two minds what to do vicroads advised
him to bring it in for inspection viv then vicpol then get the chassis checked by whoever and the maybe get it restamped.
what a head ache we dont know whether its all worth it.$$$$$$$

You could always trade it for a keyboard that has a Return and Punctuation keys...
I gave up trying to read that just as your neighbour arrived at Mt Isa.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Very true. I just developed a headache by trying to read the OP. I'm not kidding.
I'm guessing the OP was using a smart phone and bit slack with punctuation.
