An ex Clubbie and mate of mine has been using drones for a couple of years for Club Trips, Holidays, off road racing etc.
Gets truly awesome stills and vids.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

They r a hot item 3D this is from myPoliceMackay and the local news paper titled up up and away ;The owner of a drone with a fitted GoPro was flying the device on Airlie Esplanade on Saturday, January 2 at 7:30 am as the weekend markets were being set up.
The drone was landed about thirty metres from where the owner was standing (safe landing location). A very opportunistic thief has quickly grabbed the drone as it was landed and ran into the nearby crowd – stealing it – as the owner watched on nearby.
The offender is described as being a male, of Caucasian appearance, in their late thirties and wearing a hat and black long sleeved t-shirt with a black backpack.
The owner is still in possession of the remote control… The offender will not be able to operate the drone without it.
If you have any information regarding the offence or the current location of the drone and GoPro, we encourage you to contact the Whitsunday Police station on 0749 488 888 or contact Crime Stoppers.
The relevant police report number to quote is QP1600010307.
Some thieves really are faster than a speeding bullet!

Theives really are the lowest life forms going around.
Just watched All for Adventure they seem to use a drone
to get extra footage. Still early days for them IMO hopefully
the price will come down sooner rather than later.
Pretty keen to get one at some stage

Not really early days now as the prices seem to have stabilised over the last 2 years or so on the better brands (DJI, Parrot etc).
My mate uses mostly DJI so around about $500 for the Phantom.
The next 'wave' of drones coming this year will have the ability to autonomously track moving targets and avoid stationary objects.
That will mean they can 'follow' people, skiers, cyclists, vehicles etc (up to the speed of the drone of course) and not crash into trees, dunes, terrain etc.
That will mean 1 person can set up the drone and then do their thing whilst filming themselves with no need to fly the drone
Release prices look like being well under USD 2,000 for those which might drop the current ones a bit more maybe.
