    Replacement of rear fuel tank

    Hi all

My son also has a Patrol ute but it is the last of the GQ's with leaf springs all round. Rough as hell compared to my luxury coil cab.

He has rear fuel tank out to fix a leak but a local engineering company tried to remove the rust holes but said it is beyond repair so he is looking for a replacement tank.

He does not need a bigger tank as the combined 150lt is sufficient. Prices so far are around $1200/1300.

Any suggestions for the Brisvagas area for a better price?

    thanks.

Hey mate, if you or somebody you know is on facebook, keep an eye out there. Always see standard fuel tanks selling for around $100

    Update.
He found a new one out of a brand new patrol ute being converted to fire engine for $200. A bargain with 95 lt instead of standard 80lt.
A few hassles fitting but still way in front.
