The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

SUCH IS LIFE
Another bloke lucky to be alive after a strap, shackle or tow ball hit him in the head and was taken to hospital. and it was a Nissan Patrol
A man has been seriously injured after his 4WD became bogged while off-roading in Penrith overnight.
Officers from Penrith Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident which occurred at a fire trail waterhole off Devlin Road at Penrith, about 9.20pm (Sunday 12 July 2015).
Emergency services were called to the scene after the 4WD became bogged and the man was hit in the back of the head possibly by a shackle or a snatch strap, when other drivers attempted to pull his vehicle free.
The man suffered life-threatening head injuries and was flown by helicopter to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and specialist officers are at the scene investigating the incident.

Just saw it on the news they said the shackle hit him in the head,
How many more ppl need to be injured or die because of this.
Thoughts with the guys family, it could have been avoided
Do we know the kids name from the Patrol
