Just got back from a weekend down at the olds beach house and Lachy slept like a dream!!!

For the last 12 months it's been a nightmare getting him to sleep and staying asleep and it's because of our tiny house with the bedrooms right beside the tiny living room/ kitchen.

We cannot continue like this nor bring a family up in this little cottage!!!

Decisions!!!

Sell up and find a place that's bigger or get in more debt and extend over balcony to create a better bathroom for us (shoe box bathroom) and a better living area away from the bedrooms.

We need a break...lol

As much as I have no suggestion on the house / extension scenario... I know where you two are coming from in terms of sleep issues. We're still battling with Benjamin, and hes nearly 2 and a half. Sleep counselling, sleep school, different meds, no help... Sleep is a rare commodity to us.

You love the location and are now 2 minutes from work so it would make sense doing an extension. You might have to have a look into costs as it might be better doing a knockdown and rebuild. Hmmm spacious new home ...ooh yeah!

I just can't leave this place so its extension time somehow!!!

Bungalow master bedroom, carport converted to living room and ensuite and somehow connect it to lachys room as main entrance to house.

Move Lachy to mias room and move Mia to our old bedroom.
