i can't really see the point. In my opinion its just two more joints to leak or fail. If you are using distilled water or proper coolant you shouldn't need a filter. looking at the size of the mesh in that, if there is somthing in your coolant that will be stopped by that you are in deep s**t already. You can see the colour and condition of your coolant in your overflow tank and fill tank.

wasnt going to fit looks more something you would fit to a EH holden
