Help needed tb42 Carby unknown part
Hey guys I'm new here I just bought a ford maverick and I am fixing the required parts for a roadworthy and to keep it reliable. I have started the carb rebuild I've taken lots of photos whilst dismantling I have a diagram but can not find where this little plastic tube has fallen out off. Any help would be awsome as this is the last thing on my list cheers Scott http://

I think the small bit is a spacer between 2 of th assamblys - but I cannot see it on the diagram - does it fit in the hole top right of the brown spacer?

Hey mate thanks very much for the reply not quiet sure what you mean sorry the only place it fits in the base section of the Carby it would fall straight into the intake tho so I'm really unsure on this I can't see where it went or even what it would do????

Hi guys, I have the same problem about this part. When I pulled my carby apart that little plastic tube fell out from between the top and middle assembly. Put is back in a hole it fitted but the consumption is worse than before. I can not find any exploded pics any where of these carby's.
Any luck?
Thanks.

Post a picture. Not sure what this "little plastic tube". I am pretty familiar with this carby.

I just rebuild my carby today. You may see the location of this tinny pipe in the attached picture.
any one know from where I can get the black kind of spacer that comes on the bottom of carby. Couldn't find it in the rebuild kit!!
