Lonnavale.
Not so much a trek but a cool place to stay. Lonnavale is west of Huonville in S. Tas. River's Edge camping is a sublime place to spend a couple of days unwinding. Big community shelter with heater, crockery, cutlery, gas BBQ etc and $10/ adult per night to camp.
No risk of getting crowded out and the Russell River flows past complete with brown trout!

The old 20 foot containers with a roof inbetween. Always works a treat!
My mate's house looks exactly like that!
Looks like a good spot Pat! and good to see your camper box is getting used too mate!

Was there at easter 2014 was near wall to wall people, great place tho.
