The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

So here is the response (finally):
Hi Andrew, thanks for getting in touch with us.
Mud Map 2 and HD are seperate apps with different feature sets. [More
info](http://kb.mud-maps.com/help/kb/mud-m...and-mud-map-hd)
For HD customers, we do provide a $30 rebate.
If you have other questions, just give me a shout any time.
What a crock! Like I said before, the idea I paid $150.....thats one hundred and fifty dollars NOT FIVE DOLLARS for an app that within 4 months was to have no further development and to be replaced by a better featured app made by the same people but with a different name so there was no upgrade and they could wring another wad of cash from fools like me who bought the original program.
If this remains the status quo then the bunch of thieving pr!ks at that organisation will be having a date with consumer affairs.
There is a reasonable expectation when I pay 150 for an app that it will continue to be developed.

If that is the case I would speak with apple maybe they seem to look after their customers well and may be able to keep you happy as it is their name on the line too

And if the do offer a paltry $30 rebate (that is not published anywhere I can find) it would suggest they are aware they are on thin ice.....

Well not cool.. I'd be pissed to..
Its amazing how much some companies rip us Off..
For example I have a flight SIM for Rc stuff. One big name SIM charge $200 for the SIM and life time updates. They use the clients for beta testing and listen to them for info on New models.
The other charges $200 and then charges $100 for a yearly update.
You can imagine which one is more popular..

Yeah, well I paid less than $100 for TomTom on my iPhone 3 years ago and they just continue to update the program and features FOR FREE. That's how you do it because if someone asks me for a navigation app recommendation for smartphones, guess what I will be suggesting????
Ask about off road mapping..........

With this kind of customer service I know I won't be having anything to do with them!,I bet they were taking $ off people to the day the new app came out. It should be a free upgrade or they should continue to update it along side the new one at least for a few yrs...
