Not the best pic but dated from 1913 not 1918 as I thought. I think they called them the butchers bayonet. This one is un sharpened, I believe it to be German in origin, steel is Solinger.
blade is a good 300mm long

TD, it is a German WW1 Sapper's bayonet with sawback.
Pommel is the stylised eagle which is prominent of german knives of that era. Haven't been able to confirm which rifle it's from but NATO tried to have banned ad it was believed by them that when someone was skewered, it caused more damage which apparently didnt occur as the saw back is similar to what you would find on any normal swiss army blade.
Never underestimate the power of the darkside, let the tap flow through you.
2009 GU ST 4.8L AUTO WAGON, 2" OME LIFT, 33" A/T'S, ARB DELUXE BAR, WARN XD9000 WINCH, NARVA 170 SPOTTIES, SCRUB BARS / SIDE STEPS, LONG RANGE TANK, DUALL BATTS, REAR DRAWER SYSTEM, ARB AWNING, KAYMAR REAR WHEEL CARRIER, 3" ZORST
They had that saw backed bayonet on pawn stars and they said it was the engineers that carried it good for barbed wire or something. Worth a few bob too
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of themselves without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant,
'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, You are forgiven.'
Such is the rule of honour.
I've always known it as a German bayonet from 1913, and called the Butchers bayonet but google shows lots of different styles.
Value I have no idea, just an interesting piece from our war torn past.
Also have a bayonet from an AK-47 , I'm not sure how accurate it is I only brought it for its size, but heres some pics of it

I'd say so to me its brand new. and never been used that's for sure, but I have over 50 Knives easy maybe 100
haven't counted them,
The AK47 job has blade of maybe 150mm does that sound right, maybe all the WW1 bayonets were too long
for modern weapons
AK47 only cost me $15 I think
