<Central Gippsland, Vic> Split Rims & OME suspension available.
I have a set of 6 split rims with tyres I no longer need.
16" rims fitted with 235/85R16 10 ply All Terrain tyres (same diameter as 265/75)
2 tyres (Bridgestone 661) have about 50% tread
2 tyres (Bridgestone 661) have about 40% tread
2 tyres (Kuhmo Mohave) have around 50% tread
All have recently been removed from my GU Patrol & are in good roadworthy condition.
My preference would be for the buyer to collect. No problem for me to 'hold' them for you. If I have to freight them (at your cost) the hassle of me having to borrow a trailer & take them 35kms to a freight depot would have to reflected in the price paid. I am open to offers, but will only sell if it's worthwhile for me, otherwise they can sit in a shed as 'emergency spares'.
Will not separate - 6 or none. Make me an offer via PM
Also I still have the Old Man Emu HD (constant load) leaf & coil springs (2" lift) for GU cab chassis as fitted by Telstra (leaf will also fit GQ I believe) available at no cost to anyone who wants to collect. I can't quite bring myself to take good springs to the scrap yard yet, but that will be their fate if no one wants them. If you want just leaf or coil that's fine. Leaf springs come with anti inversion greasable shackles & the bushes that were fitted with them if you want them.

Would they fit a Q, Cuppa? What sort of tread are they?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

The 4 Bridgestones are like this. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=b...Iahz_xaymHM%3A
And the two Kuhmo's are like this.

Others can advise if they'll go on a GQ. I'd guess they would.

At tyres, silly me, I just saw it in you original post. The split rims are much heavier than one piece, aren't they? I'm wondering if a brake upgrade would be needed as I only have 15" rim sunraysias on now.

Weight difference between my new ROH Steels & the split rims was noticeable. Both old & new tyres have almost identical diameters. The ROH with 265's weigh a bit less than the split rims & 235's. I have discs fronts & drum rears, & haven't noticed any change to braking. I doubt you'd need a brake upgrade unless your current brakes are marginal. You are welcome to try before you buy.

Ok, I'm out, Cuppa. I have just read a few items about the dangers of split rims if you don't know what you're doing, and I have had the tyres down very low pressures on the SA beaches .

Thanks, Cuppa, that was a really good read. I have been stuck once with two sidewall skewered from a bit of concrete with reo sticking out. My only option was to change the front tyre, and stop to reinflate the second tyre, every few minutes. I was lucky I was near town, but unlucky not to have the repair kit on board.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
