Here I am again, I've heard that some LPG vehicles have a bottle installed under the hood for an Oil additive that drip feeds into the upper cylinder body ( Hope I said that correct). My cuz had it in his Cruiser, I have the additives but need to know if it is a DIY job fitting the reservoir.
Please advise, I am in Pakenham, Vic, and would like some recommendations for a mechanic.
Thanx in advance.....
Oh and by the way, I have managed to lay my hands on the series-2, rear light assembly, off Ebay, have fitted them myself and the Trol looks a lot better with rear lamps that work, rather than the dummy units that are on the series 1.
If anyone requires them, do not hesitate to ask, I can post a step by step installation, as I have done mine and perfected the DIY on a mate's Trol as well.
Cheers,
Thanx for the quick reply PG, I have a 2001 ST NP(Hope this helps), dual fuel, its done 237000Ks, the gas was fitted by the previous owner about 2005, I don't know what kits are available,

I run "Flash Lube" system on mine. Seems to do the trick.
I ran the same system on my old tojo 3f. You can purchase flash lube at most BP's round the traps of in bulk at Burson's, Repco.
Easy to fit, the trick is keep the drip small as more is not always better in this case.
Hello and welcome
X 2 with bigfella the "flash lube " seems to be the popular one.
one drip every 5 seconds or so. works via your vacuum hose
from memory, very easy install as NP99 stated..
Now jump in anytime and enjoy
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Mate, you can buy the kits from Repco and Supercheap, other places as well. Flash lube is the one I bought, comes with complete instructions. It's about $75 or wait til they have a sale. Super cheap sell another brand as well for about $50.
In the box you get a bottle, holder, tubing, T fitting and brass fitting plus a bottle of lube.
For me the hardest bit was finding room under the bonnet. I located the bottle against the battery holder, bent a tab forward and screwed/bolted the clamp bracket to the tab, placed the bottle in and ran the tube to a vac hose, cut and joined the T fitting, filled the bottle, started the engine and adjusted the flow rate on the bottle top cap.
Job done, happy to answer any questions you might have.
