Newbie 101
Hi all
My name is Paul
I found yr forum on the web while searching problems, i have a Gu 01 Patrol, and currently working in WA, i live in the NT, i do enjoy getting out and about in the bush. I have found some great reading in this forum and hope to be able to resolve some of my issues.
Chasing some information, I have just installed a gen Garrett Turbo to my ZD30, and taken if for a run. I must say its a 100% improvement on the original, anyway It lacks power i mean the turbo does not spool up until the revs hit 2750 rpm this was the same with old turbo.
After reading some of the forums and seeing turbos spooling up at 2000 rpm i am guessing i have another problem or is this only being achieved after completing the EGR mod, as i am wait on the dawes value and 3 inch exhaust to arrive.
PS
at the moment with the new turbo installed i am showing 14psi @140 kph with no mods but the spool up rate i would like to start at around 2000rpm
any help or suggestions here
Anyway great to meet you all and look forward interacting with you all
Thanks
Paul

Welcome to the forum mate, you should get a better response if you post up any questions in a different section as a lot of people don't read the intro section.
