I'm looking at a GQ at the moment, but it hasn't had a rebuild and its sitting at 465000ks. also they're taking the piss and expecting 12k. But in your opinion for a 4.2td, how many is too many?

If you're following this Patrol, Stop... You're not gonna make it
That'd all depend on the service history. Mine has well over 530k dunno if its been rebuilt or not, but it gets her oil and filters done every 5000. But 12k does sound a lot. I paid 3k for my td42 pov pak
IF YA DONT GET STUCK YA AINT TRYIN HARD ENOUGH........OR YA TOOK THE CHICKEN TRACK

One thing I LOVE about moving to NZ is that the MQ AND the MK combined are under 500k. MQ is only 212k which isn't bad for a 30yr old
Whoever disagrees with the saying "Might is right" obviously doesn't own a MQ
I'd love to find one for about 7-8k with roadworthy in good nick. my head would probably explode.

LOL, both the MQ and MK only cost 2k all up, that includes getting them shipped to me. GQs start at around 3kish over here. Personally prefer the MQs over the GQs myself

I bought mine for $7500 380000kms (in Tassie) I thought I might have paid a bit much, but pretty happy with it so far.
Hey Mate,
I just sold my GQ 4.2 turbo diesel with all the fruit on it for 14500 with full service history and it had 316000.
For something with that sort of kays on the clock i personally wouldnt pay much more than about 8-10grand depending on condition and accessories.
If you keep looking around you will find 1 with alot less kays.
as long as its serviced reg, and had good history, shouljd see well past the 600k
