here is a pic of my very first bogging, it was before i had the lift and 33 tyres stock as a rock i was about the 10th car through,
the guy reaching under to hook up is a landcrab owner
the next couple of pics are from a trip done recently about 500mtrs from the pic above, going the opposite way
a GU trying to winch me out
what the pic above doesnt show, is the jeep attached to the GU, and another GU attached to the jeep,
trying to get mine out, was an awesome day learning about different recovery procedures

Top shots mate - to quote probably the most insightful, from the heart, and flawless movie ever made "if we didn't fall down, we wouldn't know how to pick ourselves up again" ... same goes for getting bogged/stuck and learning how to recover!!
And yes, you are correct ... quote is from Batman Begins ... a powerful epic I'm sure you'll agree!! lololol
isnt the guy in the river/poddle a tv presenter that short humiliated all patrol owners because he got to say thats why we landcruiser drivers are here for...
any ways to level things out a bit i stumbled on a britty stuck toyota, its actually a rescue team car.
wow, what amazing photos, most of which I wouldn't like to experience!!
why not mate, half the fun of 4wd'ing is getting stuck and learning how to get out safely, yea you might get a bit muddy and dirty and sweaty but at the end of the day you say wow that was so much better than sitting at home in front of the idiot box
when ya mates ask ya what you did the weekend before, you can say oh i went out wheeling and spent so many hours trying to get out of the bog, it was awesome, or you can say, bugger all, justspent it at home doing boring crud hahahahaha

We watched in amazement as these people drove into the Wenlock river back in 2000, No recovery gear. No front recovery hook and no bloody idea! 45mins later they were eventually pulled out! Check out the ultimate Campers stand at the next show and this pic is one of their backgrounds on a display board. We have it all on video.
We were lucky enough to receive a complete recovery kit for 4x4 "Parting Pic" for the shot!
