fraser island - the aftermath.

We left Brisbane, 5am for our trek north to Fraser island via Rainbow beach. The weather forecast was ordinary at best, but a cyclone wouldn't of stopped this trip.
2 patrols, muddonks and my own, 5 guys, and a lot of beer.
Places we got to were lake mckenzie, kingfisher bay, Eurong, Happy valley, orchid beach, waddy point ( awesome spot for campers ) and Central Station, to name a few.
Spent quite a few hours on the inland tracks, lake mckenzie and lake elli.

A small problem with a oil sensor, which was quickly rectified. No other problems what so ever.
On the fishing front, we pulled in a couple plate dart with squid bait just north of the maheno wreck.
Wind direction wasn't ideal until Saturday so not a lot of fishing done.

My advice to any one taking a trip over, take extra fuel and supplies. ( everything is expensive ).

Holy s@#t that much for diesel crap better start putting away a few more coins I mean notes let alone the tab for that porch shot in for a good trip with that many boxes and bottles
