Our new family member, renamed her "CHOOKIE", was Cyprus??? American Bulldog, 2YR rescue, had her a week or so, still wearing the protective vest from the Vet post de-sexing. She's 40 kg, gentle as a kitten, came from a family with a young child, but timid and a vocal growler so needs a bit of socialisation and confidence. Instantly protective of the house and anyone inside it, takes about 10 minutes to get her used to a new person, so her size and demeanor on first greeting can be a bit intimidating.
