    An element of chassis rail flexyness is possibly OEM designed in and hoping this wouldn’t lock them together too much?
    Only reason I mention is that I met a bloke before lockdown readying his ISUZU twuck for around Australia and he choose a full floating type tray <> chassis mount system to retain some flex he was trying to engineer in.
