LED Interior lights- cheapest and easiest mod I have done.

    Hey guys,

Just thought I would throw up a quick post about installing LED interior light this mod took about 5 min tops, cost about $5 and works great. I struggled to find the info I needed to start with so thought I would put it in here. May have been covered before, so the problem I had mainly was not knowing the key words for an eBay search turns out it's called a festoon bulb for the rear and middle and dome light for the map lights in the front I ended up with a 48 SMD LED for rears -

And 12 SMD LED for the map light could have gone bigger but I think they work just fine-

They both came with double sided tape on the back I just cut off the sections I needed to stick so as the wires didn't get stuck to the back as well and if they do ever vibrate off I can make a backing plate and still re attach them but I doubt that will be a problem as the tape stuck like super glue.
Other than that it's just a matter of removing your light covers I did this very gently with a cloth and screw driver removing your old bulb and putting these in.
Ps the festoon bulbs for the rear have a positive and negative side so make sure they work before attaching them hence why I know the tape works so well.....

Here is a before and after of the middle light taken during day time it's a big improvement and looks even better at night

    Hope this helps.
