Hi there im Justin and I have a 1995 Nissan GQ Patrol 4.2 diesel and I am currently looking at putting a turbo on to it just to give me more HP as it is a bit slow. I have been told to get a Garrett as I am looking for it to spool up between 1000-2000rpm and I'm just not sure what Garrett to get as I am not familiar with the product. I have found Ebay turbos which seem to be half the price but will the do the same job? if anyone has any experience please tell! I have also found a standard Garrett T28 turbo off a S14 Silvia and is has got welded actuators to hold the boost and was wondering whether it would be big enough for my Patrol or will it run out of puff real early. I think it is a GT2860R.
