    Safari in Romania

    Finally, the right car for me!

    After a year full of events (mariage, a baby), a year without great offroad trips as usual, a year of driving a Toyota HJ60 and a Patrol RD28T, I did my best and found a Nissan Safari to feel happy again.

    I imported it from UK, and bring it in Romania on it's own wheels. It runs great for 3000 kms, so I am satisfyed!
    It had small problems (i changed the waterpump and I think the alternator is not great, because some lights on the dash board are on and when I accelerate they go off), but anyway, the engine, automatic gearbox and axles are great and it only had 3 rust spots I had repaired already!

    The interior was not so clean and it had a big rip in the driver's seat, but it was repaired and cleaned in an afternoon, after a couple of beers.

    I need to "grow it up", mounting a lift kit, some new bigger wheels and a winch, to solve the alternator problem and ... lot of things that I can't think about right now.... Until than, here are some photos:
