Hi everyone
My name is Derek and I'm probably one of the more senior members of the forum. I've had a 4wd of some sort and been a 4wd club member for the last 30 years. As a result I've travelled most of the eastern half of Oz. I've also been a 4wd trainer. In June I leave for the Canning and I'm itching to get started. My last car was an 80 series which, although was unbreakable, didn't impress me. At the time I was a diesel fitter with several 100 series to look after and they didn't impress me either. So I moved over to Nissan by buying a new GUiv TD42 and haven't looked back. The car is only lightly modified so nothing to brag about here. I love 4wding and getting away (so long as it's peaceful) and making my own mods and accessories. Diesel fitter on earthmoving equipment for 30 years, now a school teacher. I live at Burpengary near Brisbane.
