thanks for the welcome, luckey for me my dads a mechanic and has been teaching me a fair bit on repairing my shorty and also driving it on and off road

Good onya. I wish I was mechanically minded. These guys on the forum have given me confidence to lift the bonnet up.
Twice I've checked the oil and arked the dipstick on the battery. The dipstick's too flexible. lololol
Your dad might be able to help us too. Show us a pic of yr truck when you get time, please.
