    Thanks for the pictures lachiek! I wish my work looked that neet...

    I came across this because I'm trying to figure out how to get a cable from the inside of the car into the door (for speakers). The rubbery tube which houses the existing cables seems to be sealed on both ends.
    In your photos it looks like you simply bypassed that tube. Is that true? Have you attached the new cable to the outside of the tube?

    That looks great. Is that light triggered by a door switch so it turns on when you open the door or do you manually switch it on?

    Hey all, sorry for slow reply, last few months of 2012 were forgettable.

    Flo-w, nah I ran all cables through the rubber tube. Sticky tape the cable to the end of some coat hanger wire and carefully thread it through.

    Devious, I didn't trigger it from the door, couldn't be bothered. The second last photo shows the 12v sockets and beside it is the switch for the lights.
