    Approx location for solenoid.

    hand held gen bracket and gen solenoid in approx position.
    This is a broken one I replaced with a aftermarket one.
    Also in approx same location.

    Thanks Robo, the actuators that I have look nothing like that and when mounted internally in the door they conflict with the window mechanism.

    What brand did you end up getting? I may have to shop around by the looks of it as I now have central locking for the front 2 doors but still have to do the rear manually which isn't a problem until you have ballance a child in your arms.

    It's a good idea to post an intro in the introduction section, just so we know who we are taking with.

    It would also be a good idea to start a new thread, with pictures of your mounting problem.

    sorry no pics but if you look down the snipper hole i mounted it right down the bottom of the door facing up with the rod from the motor pushing and pulling on the snipper rod just above the lock

    4 door kit

    4 door kit.

    This type of actuator is what I replaced the broken gen nissan 1 with.
    Pic is stand alone kit for a car that doesn't have c/lock in the first place.
    Can also be hooked to work with alarm systems.
