I ran 33" with my 2" Old Man Emu lift on the 2007 GU and they rubbed.

285's are equivalent to 33inch. You shouldn't have any dramas at all. A mate has a GU with 2 inch lift and 33s no problem:-)

You might be able to put spacers on the studs of the spare tyre carrier and still have enough thread to mount the tyre. Or you can take of the wheel carrier and put a spacer between it and the door panel

. My 35's sometimes scrub on a 4 inch lift with drop radius arms.
I think it will scrub on the rear at full compression.

mounted up the tyres and so far so good no rubbing lock to lock off road will tell,,, as for the spare i will invest in a spacer to go between the carrier and the door that way when i wear this suspension set and move up to a 4 inch lift i can then mount my 35 inch tyres LOL

Im running 33's on the troll and on full flex they are scrubbing the under side of the guard but miss mudflaps. Theres about 5mm between tyre and lip.

No way I could run 35's without lift

put some 35"s on today and they rub slightly but no more then my 33s on road but on full flex they rub on the fuel filler guard on rear right side and on front mudflaps.

i think with radius arm spacers the front won't rub and the rear guard can be reshaped with a lil heat as its only plastic so all in all ill be gettin some 35s for sure!
it wasnt even on full lock that they rubed but on 3/4

u can see the 31s vs 35s in 2nd pic
