    Will 35's fit with a 2' lift?

I was just watching one of the 4wdtv vids on here and saw a segment where they were fitting 35's to a GU and said with lift you can but need either a radius arm spacer kit or longer radius arms themselves to stop scrubbing and breaking guards, They did not however say how big the lift needs to be to start with? I run 33 MTZ's now and under big flex (for standard hight) it already scrubs. My question is, is a 2" lift enough with the Radius arms/ spacer kit enough to accomidate the 35's?????
    Thanks Patroler's

Probably not. My brother in law has a 3" lift in his GQ and 35s were scrubbing a little bit. Could be different on a GU but I think it's pretty similar.

GU Wheel arches are Massive and Much bigger than a GQ. I run 35s with a 3" lift on my GUIV with no trouble at all. I have removed the front mudflaps but had to do that for the 33s and no lift. went to 35s and a 3" lift with Drop boxes instead of just spacers (same position though) and have only scraped once on a big hit

    All good

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

So it can be done, no probs with scrubbing then? Did you just have 2" springs and shocks or coil spacers/ body blocks as well. I am put of by the price of a complete 3" kit and want to do it properly, thats why the questions about 2" lift. This way i can get a really good quality set up. I just seam to find deep ruts and i think 35's would get me through a lot of them.
Thanks, as they say a pic says a thousand words.

im running a tyre equal to a 34 with a 2 inch lift with no spacers and it does not appear to go anywhere near rubbing so id imagine a 35 should clear. Especially on a gu
