    Air Intake Pipe/Hose GQ Patrol/Maverick

Wondering if anybody knows if you can purchase a new complete Air intake hose (from front left panel to Air Filter) or if they are able to be replaced with aftermarket generic hose/pipe?

Mine has numerous holes and Duct tape does not seem to be holding it all together anymore.

    Appreciate any feedback.

    Mick.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

You may find the first round part will slide inside 3 1/8" (83mm) diamter hose.

The Engine is a 4.2 petrol which is also fitted with LPG.

The ag pipe solution sounds quick and easy - but I have no idea what a Purple Pig Store is AB?? Maybe we don't have them in the Banana Republic?

That's the stuff, it's called flexible ducting. Comes in a variety of materials and for different uses. Any hose supplier you can find locally should stock something that will do the job. TPR (thermoplastic rubber) will do the job!

I just noticed you are in Brissy, You have a Hoseco store over there- if you go in and see them they should have some off the shelf for you. I deal with them a lot in my job over here.

Got any pics you can post Mick?
Have a look in my members ride thread (tasLucas's tb42 ti) it has a bit of a custom flexi pipe set up done by the previous owner. (some of it is dodgy lol)

I was wondering the same thing.
Sometimes it's the destination, but usually its the journey!
