Still Going into Limp mode 2000 GUII -Please Help

    G'day All,
I have done all the mod's as suggested except for installing a pyro gauge.
I have adjusted the screw on the turbo but my 2000 GUII is still going into limp mode????
I have adjusted the turbo back to boost no more than 10psi, then have sdjusted it up to 15psi and played around with boost pressures in between this range ( each time disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes.). However if i drop it to 10 psi i have no power but it still exhibits the symptoms of going into limp mode when i try to accelerate in 3rd 4th and 5th gear?? If I wind it up to 15psi i still have the same problem. This is really frustrating!! Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this, cause its got me stumped..

    Cheers
    harls

I had the same issues. I assume you have a dawes and needle valve installed when you say you have done all the mods?
If so, take it off. It is almost impossible to get decent boost and not go into limp mode with the dawes and needle valve fitted to a manual that gets driven up big hills.

Unfortunately, i do not have a dawes valve fitted as yet. my appologies ( have nearly done all the mod's).
The mod's are, egr blocked, catch can installed, turbo screw wound back. I have also checked the voltages on the maf sensor and it is working correctly.

Does anyone know if unplugging the boost control sensor plug will make any difference?? Or will this cause other problems??
