    JP's 4.5 GUI

Good Day my friends, this is JP from Chile Southamerica (your neighbor, just the entire Pacific Ocean in between) , this is my 2000 4.5 Y61 , GL (barebone stock model,) with some standard GU aftermarket that doens't need to be explained to you AUS'iens

My only short term plans are a double jerry can holder for the roofrack (bought in the US from Hannibal) and maybe a V8 engine swap. I bought a 5.3 LM7 V8 (300 bHP) from a 2004 Chevy Silverado in the US, that is sailing soon , and might start this swap (if I don't get temped to sell the engine and buy a bigger one)... who knows since the TB45E swallows 20 lt/100 Kmt , I could live with the same mileage but with 100 Hp more...

Hey Paul , thanks mate, oh yes, but the LS1 (all aluminum) is a car engine (GTO, Monaro, Corvette, Camaro, etc) and the LQ4 or LQ9 6.0 V8s are kinda more suited since they come from trucks (Silverado HD , Cadillac Escalade, Hummer H2, etc.) due to their low end torque they are set up ... and byw, these are way cheaper than LS engines
