As I live in the UK where fuel prices are kept very high, Nissan Patrol's are a relative rarity, especially petrol versions. Nissan apparently only sold an average of around 500 Patrol's in the UK per year.
But I have now owned three, with my current (Y60) GR SE Auto LWB being owned since 1998. All of them having been petrol powered (most Patrol's sold here were diesel, in fact the Y61's have only ever been made available with diesel power). But I have enjoyed owning them. Though have never enjoyed filling them up! http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...es/jawdrop.gif
I am looking forward to gaining information from the tips, advice and experiences that others have had with their Patrol's.
G'day & welcome aboard mate
Great lot here with tons of advice, adventures and experiences to share

Gday Shaun, welcome aboard mate. Always good to see new members from outside Aus.
We love pics here, so if youve got any from your local 4wding spots id love to see them!
As you can see there isn't to many around especially Y60's. Mine is a 1996 model, which according to the graph, there were only 23 on the road in 2010, with another 5 signed as off the road. (Over here we can be fined badly if we don't tell where the cars are, even if not used on the road or road worthy. Don't know if its the same in Australia?). Even the later years which relate more to the Y61 models aren't very high.
This is in a country with well over 23+ million vehicles and many 10's of 1000's of Land Rover's!
