    MolongMicks new Toy

Well our new toy has arrived. We ordered a 17.56-2 outback expanda in December last year. We finally drove, I mean towed it home yesterday.

We got lots of goodies included, such as:
    Awning,
    wineguard aerial,
    150 litre fridge,
    Hot water system,
    2 gauge tank monitor,
    battery monitor,
    2 x 120 watt solar panels with
    2 x 100 amp batteries in line,
    simplicity suspension,
    5 x 245/65R16 tyres,
    privacy screens,
2 x fixed bunks with separate curtains,
1 large external hatch under bottom bunk,
cd/stereo with internal and external speakers,
external light on road side of van,
    extend draw bar by 300mm,
    external gas bayonet,
    external picnic table,
    12 volt fan for fridge,
    3 shelves in robe,
    laminex top dining table,
inner spring mattresses front and rear, and
    an external shower.

She towed beautifully on the way home and I am very happy with it.

    Here are some pickies:
    Cheers Mick

The first outing was trying to get it up the driveway, last pic, it is much steeper than the picture shows.
Gravel driveway, all this rain, about 200mm in the last week. The driveway on the last bit has about a 1 in 1.75 climb.

Seriously, we will try to get out to GUM BEND LAKE out near Condobolin in the next two weeks, only 200km away. I just hope the rain stops.
    Cheers Mick

I actually thought about a boat, but you can't sleep five in a ski boat, and stay dry.

It's alright, I'll let you step foot in and sit down on thos comfy seats, relax have a beer a chat, then when its bed time, I'll kick you out the door, lol.

We did the same started in tents, went to the Eagle camper, then decided it was time to upgrade to this, probably spent more than we needed to, but You Only Live Once and you Can't take your money to the grave.

If we ever run into each other on the open road, I'll invite you in for a beer.
    Cheers Mick
