Transfer Case Output Bearing

Just signed up last night and have a question about my 86 MQ/MK 3.3TD LWB I just bought. Is changing the transfer case output bearing a big job? Do you know if you need to rip the whole gearbox out? I've only just bought her and these older patrols are fairly new to me. Am hoping to organise getting service manual off ebay which may help answer my question.

Also realised that after reading the forum more that it is actually an MK not MQ - as I thought it was. Is that right - if it's an 86 (with square lights, 5 speed etc) then its an MK?
